We are now accepting applications for FALL 24/25 for Independent Study, University Prep Early College and Home School in all of our service counties.
Start your application by creating an account. It takes just a minute!
Once your account is created, the next steps are simple: complete your application and schedule your enrollment appointment. Here’s what you need to know about the requirements and what to expect:
IMPORTANT: A completed application does not guarantee placement at Visions.
We need legal proof of age for the student (e.g., birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or immigration certificate.) A passport with an Affidavit of Birth Date is acceptable for proof of age. If none of these documents are obtainable, the parent may complete the Affidavit of Birth Date.
Since we need to have proof that you live in one of our nine counties, please submit a copy of a cable/internet, lease/mortgage or utility (electric, landline telephone or gas) bill showing the name of the applicant’s parent or guardian. If your cable or utilities are in someone else’s name, you may submit both a copy of their bill and a signed letter from them stating that the parent and student live at their address.
All students must submit a copy of their immunization record. All students entering 7th through 12th grades will need proof of an adolescent whooping cough booster shot (Tdap) to apply.
After your application has been processed, we will attempt to match your student with an available credentialed teacher in your area. Once a teacher has been assigned we will contact you to schedule your enrollment appointment.
An Enrollment Specialist will call you to complete your student’s enrollment. During your conversation you will learn more about our program, how to contact your teacher and how to order curriculum and supplies. We will also try to answer any questions that you may have.
Students entering Kindergarten or 1st grade must provide a Health Examination Form that has been completed by their doctor no earlier than 18 months prior to the December the student will attend 1st grade.
Students entering their first year of public school in either Kindergarten or 1st grade must have a licensed dentist or other licensed or registered dental health professional complete and submit an Oral Health Assessment/Waiver Form prior to May 31st of the student’s first year.
All students entering 7th through 12th grades will need proof of an adolescent whooping cough booster shot (Tdap) to apply.

The best part about Visions in Education is that you can work in your own time and at your own pace. The teachers are always an email away and reply in less the 10 minutes. The counselors always help you when you have a concern about your academics or grades. Even though its not a in person school they always have clubs you can choose from and join through zoom.
Visions In Education serves students in nine Northern California counties including Amador, Contra Costa, El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sutter and Yolo. We are authorized through a local public school district at the center of our service area.
Typically students must be at least 5 years old shortly after school begins and under 20; however the requirements can be complicated, so please call us toll-free at 1-833-883-1601 if you or your student is close to either of these cutoffs.
We accept applications throughout the school year for current and future semesters.
