According to\u00a0Pacer\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0National Bullying Prevention Center,\u00a01 out of every 5 students report being bullied.<\/p>\n

At Visions we\u2019re proud to offer programs that help students escape bullying in traditional public schools<\/strong>. But bullies can be found everywhere so it\u2019s important for students and parents to know how to identify and deal with bullying. Here are some tips:<\/p>\n

Speak to your children\u00a0 about bullying<\/a><\/li>\n
Communicate daily \u2013 reassure your children that they can come to you with issues<\/li>\n
Encourage your children to get involved in activities and hobbies to meet others with similar interests and to build confidence<\/li>\n
Recognize the\u00a0 warning signs<\/a>\u00a0and help your child work through difficult situations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Visit\u00a0 StopBullying.gov<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0 BecauseOfYou.org<\/a>\u00a0for more resources.<\/p>\n
